In April 2010 I participated in the original "Dance Experiment," which consisted of a group of danceless strangers joining together to learn 4 choreographed dance routines, performing these routines in 2 shows and all the while being videotaped for a documentary. The day before our first performance, I decided I needed to provide myself with a little pre-show distraction in order to maintain control of essential bodily functions. In a fit of desperation, I slammed together a playlist of my top songs that had kept my head bobbing all winter. That playlist became the foundation for this mix.

Until now, my Dance Experiment Mix has only been heard by those lucky enough to attend our first DJ BBQ, which coincidentally was my first time spinning live for an audience. I was fairly nervous spinning it, but when you've JUST danced in front of 200 people…, TWICE… spinning a set for an audience doesn't seem so intimidating now does it?
